The 1st Annual Bliss Expo

We invite you to come and be part of the 1st Annual Bliss Expo on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Covenant Glen United Methodist Church in Missouri City, Texas.

Bliss Expo is about finding contentment in your stage in life. It’s for the empowered single woman who is looking, the newly engaged and her fiancé, the couple married for one year or more than 20 years, and even the divorced person open to finding love again.

According to studies published in a recent article on divorce360.com:

• 70 percent of black women’s first marriages will end in divorce.

• 32 percent of African-American couples divorce.

• Marriage results in important benefits for black children.  

• Marriage is definitely beneficial for male children.

• Marriage improves the economic, social and psychological well-being of African-American men and women.

• Black children appear to benefit more from marriage of their parents than white children.

The event is designed to engage, educate, and empower the individual spirit in order to support and improve the state of African-American relationships, ultimately strengthening the black family.

Registration begins September 6, 2010.
